Catherine has a HUGE apartment in Cairo that has been our home base. She has been wonderfully hospitable and it has been super fun to hang out with her in between our jaunts around this great country! Almost feels like we live here somehow. There was even a party there with some Yanks a few nights ago!
I thought we discussed NOT posting any pictures of me in my pink PJ pants... this is to get back at me for posting the picture of Anna with her sunburn isn't it?? I guess I had it coming ....
ReplyDeleteBut they did it because I asked them to! Aren't they obedient?? ;-) (And besides, Cat, those pink PJs have style! They'll turn into the latest fad here in the US of A!) so we could see their friends who we heard were being so hospitable and wonderful to our vagabond chilluns who are wandering so far from their loved ones in foreign lands, which are so beautiful that we wish we could be travelling in their pockets.... Cat, I just wanted to thank you myself. It's good to know they have a home away from home. Makes a big difference when you're travelling. You have an open invitation to come and stay in Annapolis with us which some people say isn't too bad a place too - although not nearly as interesting as I see this trip is!!
